World politics major Finlay Adamson 鈥�22 will experience another country鈥檚 culture firsthand when he heads to Bulgaria as the recipient of a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship.

Associate Professor of Mathematics Courtney Gibbons is headed to Congress for the 2022-23 academic year.

Ella Gaspar 鈥�22 will take a position as a project assistant/paralegal at Proskauer Rose LLP in New York City after graduation.

Last year Riley Nichols 鈥�21 developed a program titled 鈥淧hilosophy with Children鈥� with 12 other students under the direction of John Stewart Kennedy Chair of Philosophy Marianne Janack. The group developed and delivered virtual weekly lessons exploring age-appropriate topics in philosophy with groups of Clinton elementary and middle school students. Some of the lesson plans developed by the Hamilton students have been selected and published by PLATO (Philosophy Learning and Teaching Organization).

Billy Geach 鈥�23 was voted Golfer of the Year, Lauren Cupp was chosen Coach of the Year and three Continentals have been selected for the 2022 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Golf All-Conference Team.

Hamilton seniors are wrapping up their college careers with thesis projects in their majors. Thoughtful analysis of topics, and creativity are apparent in the last academic work they鈥檒l do at Hamilton.

It鈥檚 one thing to read a news article. It鈥檚 another to hear directly from a person living through the ordeal of war.

Tommy Keith 鈥�22 knew that he wanted to do something service-oriented after college. As he considered his options, his love for kids, and his interest in educational equity brought him to Teach For America (TFA), a nonprofit organization that brings 鈥減romising leaders鈥� to teach in low-income communities. For the next two years, he will be teaching 7-12th grade English in the Mississippi Arkansas Delta Region.

Hamilton鈥檚 highest awards for teaching were presented to four faculty members by Dean of Faculty Suzanne Keen during the May 3 faculty meeting.

Academic achievement prizes, prize scholarships, and other student awards were presented at the annual Class & Charter Day convocation on May 11 in the College Chapel.
