People, events, buildings, and symbols that collectively represent the long history of Hamilton鈥檚 Opportunity Programs (OP) are on brilliant display in a 4- by 7-foot painting designed and created by Nat St. Helen 鈥�27 (they/them).

Large language models (LLMs) have been at the forefront of the zeitgeist ever since publicly available AI programs like OpenAI鈥檚 ChatGPT burst onto the scene. Three 91制片厂 computer science majors are spending their summer researching this cutting-edge technology alongside Professor Thomas Helmuth 鈥�09.

They arrived with curiosity, drive, and a sense of possibility 鈥� and now Hamilton鈥檚 Class of 2025 is stepping boldly into what鈥檚 next, with graduation canes in hand and valuable lessons learned. What shaped them during their four years on College Hill? Which moments, mentors, and courses stand out?

A decade-and-a-half after powering Hamilton鈥檚 women鈥檚 lacrosse to the College鈥檚 only team national championship, Kaillie Briscoe Kelly 鈥�09 has returned to the Hill as successor to her former coach and mentor Patty Kloidt.

Connecting distant destinations with local lands, senior fellow Clare Robinson spent her final year at Hamilton delving into community reactions to climate change and environmental policy.

The men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 tennis teams placed in final 2024-25 DIII rankings, individual athletes earned All-American and NESCAC honors, and senior awards capped the spring athletics season. See photographer Josh McKee's favorite photos below.

Newly minted alum Anna Richardson 鈥�25 was a writer for Hamilton鈥檚 Communications and Marketing office during her time as a student. She was a member of former Rep. Matt Cartwright鈥檚 鈥�83 Linowitz Seminar during the spring semester, and tells here about what she learned.

At Hamilton鈥檚 annual Class & Charter Day convocation on May 13, 142 students were honored with academic prizes and scholarships, and faculty teaching award recipients were recognized. Delbert 鈥淒el鈥� Gonzales 鈥�25 was awarded the James Soper Merrill Prize, and Mohammad 鈥淚sa鈥� Khan 鈥�26 received the Fillius Drown Prize Scholarship. Associate Professor of Philosophy Justin Clark served as the keynote speaker.

Three Hamilton students 鈥擥abrielle (Gaby) Guerra 鈥�27, Tzu Han (Annie) Huang 鈥�27, and Darian Torres 鈥�27 鈥� will study abroad during the next year, thanks to assistance from Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships.

As the 2024-25 academic year wraps up, we鈥檙e proud to celebrate students who have received national fellowships and scholarships, presented at conferences, and earned other recognition.
