The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) has awarded Assistant Professor of Art History Nadya Bair $60,000 for the study of Cornell Capa and the International Center for Photography (ICP).

On Jan. 14, 45 new members of the Class of 2026 officially joined the Hamily. Orientation leaders provided a warm welcome to the January admits as they checked in, moved into their residence hall homes, and got right to it with orientation group meetings, a welcome luncheon with President David Wippman, Dean of Faculty Ngoni Munemo, Vice President for Enrollment Management Monica Inzer, and Dean of Students Chris Card. They signed the College register at matriculation in Buttrick Hall and learned about Hamilton鈥檚 Honor Code.

When media outlets feature faculty and staff discoveries and accomplishments, it helps strengthen Hamilton鈥檚 reputation as one of the top liberal arts colleges in the country. In 2022, nearly 4,800 articles, radio programs, and television shows featured 91制片厂.

Three Hamilton environmental studies majors 鈥� Emily Benson 鈥�23, Katie Tanner 鈥�23, and Ellie Sangree 鈥�24 鈥� presented their research at the American Geophysical Union Annual Meeting in Chicago in December. The students were accompanied by Aaron Strong and Heather Kropp, assistant professors of environmental studies.
