Create a future where Hamilton students and faculty, through innovation, draw on the mix of technology and authentic intelligence to develop, test, and advance new ideas both at Hamilton and in the world beyond. Each charrette is an intensive, collaborative workshop that brings together a diverse group of participants to generate ideas, address challenges, and design potential solutions. Day 2 is dedicated to prototyping and testing the ideas and strategies that were generated on Day 1.

Aikido a non-competitive yet powerful Japanese martial art adapted from traditional combat techniques. Aikido can be effectively implemented by people of any age, body type, or gender for self-defense and to improve physical and mental conditioning. This will be treated as a beginner class welcome to all, but will involve dynamic movements of the entire body. You should should wear lower body attire that covers the legs below the knee that they can freely move in. T-shirts are acceptable for the upper body. Instructor: Christina Schubert

Intro to Swing Dance:聽 If you love jazz and want to learn how to dance while trying a fresh take on exercise, this is the class for you! We will focus on the basic steps for Lindy hop, Charleston, Balboa, East coast swing and Solo jazz through the semester. This class will primarily focus on partner dancing, but you do not need to bring a partner to participate (we will be rotating partners through the class). All levels encouraged and welcomed!
