Students in Professor Nadya Bair’s research lab-style seminar worked in teams to design their own digital humanities project on a magazine whose full run could be accessed at Burke Library. They articulated compelling and original research questions and spent hours poring over issues of National Geographic, Vogue, and Life to answer those questions.
