Hamilton’s Alum Go to Washington, D.C.

In conjunction with the exhibition Renée Stout: Tales of the Conjure Woman currently on view at the Wellin Museum of Art until December 20, we hosted an alumni evening with Director Tracy L. Adler and artist Renée Stout on October 14 celebrating the artist at her concurrent exhibition at Hemphill Fine Arts in Washington, D.C.  Director Tracy L. Adler spoke about the current outreach projects and exhibits at the Wellin.  We welcomed alumni to view Stout’s work, discuss her artistic process and the evolution of her work since opening her exhibit at the Wellin Museum.
