Common Ground will be hosting a roleplaying game over dinner. We will be playing a game called "Meta Oversight Board" that examines how social media should censor or moderate political posts. The game allows us to explore current issues with a real case study. This game immerses students in the challenges of balancing digital free speech with public safety and human rights. Common Ground speakers will examine the power and responsibility of the President and its limitations. The speakers are Jack Goldsmith and Bob Bauer, co-authors of "After Trump: Reconstructing the Presidency". Bob Bauer previously served in government as White House Counsel to President Barack Obama. He now teaches at New York University School of Law. Jack Goldsmith previously served as Assistant Attorney General, Office of Legal Counsel during the George W. Bush administration. He now teaches at Harvard Law School.
