Baguio Blog Conference 2013

April 17, 2013 in Blogging, My Life by Ane

Last year, I was fortunate enough to have been asked to become a speaker for the First ever Baguio Blog Conference by Vince of LakbayBaguio. He had this vision about spreading the word about his passion for blogging and hopefully encourage more people in our beloved city to realize that there are a lot of other things you can do online other than go on Facebook. So he went door to door, literally, asking local businesses to help him out. Unfortunately for him, Baguio City is still way behind when it comes to knowing about how influential a blogger can be, so they turned him down, there were a few establishments that did help out and we will forever be grateful because they made the first ever blog conference a success.

Are you ready for the next one?

This year, Vince has passed on the torch to me. As Queen of the Cordillera Bloggers, yes, you got that right, we have a monarchy, it’s a long story, perhaps I’ll tell you one day, I wasn’t left with much choice, I had to set a good example and I really can’t say No to Vince, I’ve gotten to know him the past year and he’s one dedicated dude, it wouldn’t be right to turn him down. I only hope to live up to his expectations and show him that I’ve taken good care of his baby. So here it is.

The Second Baguio Blog Conference. May 11, 2013 8am to 5pm at the Azalea Residences Baguio, one of the best hotel in town and appears on the list of best Baguio Hotels. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Register now and be part of the biggest blogging event of the summer in Baguio City!

I am a freelance writer who blogs to my heart's content when I have no articles to ghost write for other people.

I love what I do because I can stay at home and take care of my kids and my husband while I earn some money so I can buy stuff my kids want, eat out every Sunday night, go out for coffee with my friends, pay for my credit card and internet and pamper myself in the salon to keep my husband attracted to me. LOL. :D

I am who I am. I am not perfect nor I try to be, I have grown comfortable in my own skin and I love myself. I have accepted the fact that I can't please everybody, so I don't strain myself to even bother. What matters is that my friends and family know me and accept me for who I am, warts and all. :)
