Guitar Hunting

As you very well know, I am on the look out for the perfect guitar for Lucas. I have been wanting to buy him a guitar ever since he expressed his intentions of wanting one a few years back, but I couldn’t afford it then, so I didn’t bother to look for one then. Now, my grandmother has offered to buy the guitar for me, so here I am, looking for reputable dealers online to buy an awesome guitar from.
Furman is one of the brands of guitars I have come across, I have come across a website that seems to have an extensive line of guitars and they also have accessories like amps, picks and cords. I think that this can truly be the place where I purchase Lucas’ first guitar. I have to ask my brother for some advice on what kind to get first though, I have zero knowledge about guitars.

I think you must first gain some knowledge about guitar before you make the purchase. Musical instruments are sometimes complex and missing a single part may render the whole thing unuseful.

Yes, I think buying a somewhat basic guitar is the way to go for now, which he can use for learning. A complicated guitar will be harder to get to grips with and maybe even end up souring the experience. I remember starting out on a very basic keyboard piano before buying a bigger one later on.
