Getting Ready for Christmas

I cannot believe there are less than 3 months and it’s already the Christmas season. As early as October, people are already decorating their homes in preparation for the holidays. At least in our country.

We, however, don’t start decorating until December 1st. My mother in law is usually the one who decorates the house, sometimes decorations stay all year round.Smile with tongue out But, that’s one of the cons of not living in your own house. Of course if B and I had our own place, I’d be able to decorate it as I please.

I want to get table sparklers for our tables, I saw it online and I thought it would be cool to use instead of using electronic candles or real candles. Open-mouthed smile I am also thinking about buying new curtains as well as a new tree, and possibly new trimmings for the Christmas tree. But, we’ll see.

Christmas is the biggest celebration in the Philippines, next to New Year’s Eve and the Holy Week. So you can bet that we Filipinos go all out when it comes to decorating and celebrating it.

Check out The White Company for awesome Christmas decorations and accessories you can use at home. Smile

Hey Ane! :) i know most people start decorating their homes right after Thanksgiving.. Well, at least since your MIL will be decorating the place then you don't have to worry about spending money on decoration and only concentrate on buying gifts. hehehe. :)

I will be moving out end of november and like it or not, I HAVE to decorate my new place. but actually, I kinda like it. If only I don't have to have budget for new stuff!

More like only 2 months left now. Wow! I cannot believe it. We're not yet ready! No decorations in our house yet. The in-laws are not big on celebrating Christmas because it is also FIL's birthday. What a spoiler, hahaha!
