I love playing video games. It is one of my favorite things to do. Since my uncle bought us that family computer way back when I was a kid I've become a gamer. I wanted to be a video game tester, it's still something I haven't totally given up on. Yes, I am a gamer. Most people are surprised to know that about me, they say I don't really look like a person who spends a lot of time playing video games, but I do. I spend most of my time in front of the computer, if not in front of a video game console. From the family computer to the nintendo to the sega to the playstation and now to the playstation 2. Of course there are new game consoles that I'm dying to get my hands on, like the wii and the playstation 3, but because I have kids now, it's not my priority. I still have my playstation 2 though, and I still love it. Besides, there are still a lot of games that I'd still like to play on the playstation 2 so I'm not completely disappointed that I can't buy a new video game console. I have a lot of favorite games, on the PC and on the PS2. The most terrifying game I have probably ever played was the Silent Hill Series, the music alone is enough to scare your pants off, and it's creepy even when you play it during the daytime, which I do, because I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to things like that because my imagination gets so wild that most of the tim
e I end up scaring myself more than necessary. Let me tell you, that game scared me so badly that it made me jumpy and paranoid for a couple of days. Another scary game is The Suffering, very disturbing, it's about a guy who has been said to have killed his wife and kids but he can't remember anything, and then he gets sent to this maximum security prison on an island, and the island is full of creepy creatures and stuff because its said that evil things were done there; and as soon as he gets there weird things happen, and before you know it creatures are after
him and he's trying to escape the island, then he realizes that he is also capable of transforming into a creature because he was experimented on, which accounts for him not remembering killing his family, and he hears voices, two sets, his wife's voice and the psycho doctor who made him into a monster, choosing which voice to follow will result in different endings, you listen to the wife you get the nice ending, you listen to the doctor and you get the bad ending, you do your own thing and you get a weird ending. This game has a lot of cursing in it, which doesn't surprise me, if I'm being attacked by creepy creatures I'd swear a lot too. I also like the Resident Evil Series from the PS1 and the sequels on the PS2, not really very scary, but the game is very challenging, especially the puzzles you have to solve to progress through the game. It also had a great ending, my favorite ending was that of Resident Evil 3:Nemesis, the part when they blew up Racoon City, the graphics were so cool. I love to play all sorts of video games, from scary, disturbing games to the cute and girly kind of games. For example, I like the Lara Croft:Tomb Raider Series, it's a bit hard to figure out some of the puzzles, but it's a great way to exercise your brain. Lara is not just hot, she's smart too. Then there's the Bratz Series, yup, talk about your girly, kind of kiddie game, it's a make over, glam-yourself-up kind of game, my daughter just loves this game. I can write about all the other games that I love but it will take forever because I love a lot of games. I like the Tekken Series, Need for Speed, Grand Theft Auto Series, Avatar:The Last Airbender, Nicktoons Volcano Island, Spongebob, Kim Possible, get the picture? Like I said, I love video games. But among all the games that I love, my favorite is The Sims Series and The Sims 2 Series. It's a game where you can control and manipulate everything around you, what's not to love?
I absolutely love it, I lose track of time when I play this game and I can play it forever. People who thought about this game are brilliant. Playing video games is my thing, it's like my trademark, it's what makes me, Me.
