Can you believe it’s Tuesday again? and we’re already half-way through January. It’s crazy.

So, what have you guys been up to?

Why don’t you tell me over a Random Tuesday Thoughts post. That would be so awesome.

If there’s one thing I dislike more than bananas, it’s coconuts. Bananas are kind of growing on me though. I especially like the "saba" kind made into Turon or Banana Cue, both Filipino deserts, which are oh so yummy.

Turon is Saba, rolled in brown sugar then wrapped in spring roll wrapper, sometimes with sweet potato or jack fruit and then deep fried to golden perfection. I have a picture of it somewhere but cannot currently find it. The price I have to pay for being a procrastinator. *sigh*

Banana Cue on the other hand is Saba deep fried with brown sugar, you’ll know it’s ready when the bananas are cooked and it is evenly coated with the caramelized sugar, it is then skewered with a bamboo stick and cooled. Some use Minatamis na Bao (sweet coconut jam) instead of brown sugar, I don’t like coconut too, but somehow this one works. I like it both ways.

NO. I don’t think I’m pregnant. I may be pregnant. I hope I’m not pregnant.

All I can think about as of the moment are bananas. How weird is that?

This sh!t is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S. I’m having a major case of déjà vu because I know I’ve written that specific phrase down for an old RTT post. Haha. It just shows how much I’ve not grown in years. Haha.

In other news. I am obsessed with Beauty and the Beat, the song by Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj. No thanks to my 4 year old who has not gotten over Justin Bieber and his songs.

Johnny Depp is ! I love him.

The other day, on the way home, Lucas and I saw a bird, a swallow of some kind, on the street, it was merrily hopping slowly like what birds do and then all of a sudden, out of nowhere a cat pounced on it and caught it between its mouth and ran away in a corner with it.

LUCAS: Noooooooooo! Where’d that cat come from?! Mommy! Do something!!!
ME: WHOA! What do you want me to do?!
(By this time, Lucas was freaking out.)
LUCAS: I can’t believe the cat did that, he’s so mean. Stupid bird, he didn’t see the cat.

I was trying not to laugh since he was pretty upset, he goes on about how Sylvester never catches Tweety and how cats should stick to catching mice and all those things. It was hilarious. Cats are awesome.

I actually have nothing else, worth writing about. Which is why I’ve not been updating this blog. My personal life has been kind of monotonous, which is just the way I like it, thank you very much. but, I will let you know if something amazing happens, which is kind of likely at the moment. Haha.
