Friday Frustrations: Power Interruptions*

It's been a while since I got frustrated about something, and today what frustrated me the most was the power interruption we had from 8 in the morning until 4:30 in the afternoon. As a work from home mom, I rely on the electricity so I can do my job and if the power goes out that means I don't have internet connection and I can't work, and when I don't work I don't get paid and not getting paid is frustrating, especially since the holidays are just around the corner.

Apparently our local electricity supplier thought it would be a wise decision to turn off the power supply in the whole city as a means to save energy because they expect that electricity consumption will be at an ultimate high this coming holiday season. Although they do have good intentions, it still pissed me off! They could have given us a heads up but no announcements were made.

I gave the local electricity supplier's office a call to find out why we had a power interruption and it took like an hour before I even got through the line as they tend to hang the phone to avoid calls from people like me, that alone is frustrating!

*sigh*
